We are very excited to introduce a new version of our exclusive care label cards. Kar{e}tpostal cards were originally created as an artistic and practical approach to care laundry labels for handmade products.
The first version was digital and provided several layout options for the front part of each card. It is still available for purchase in digital format and in two languages – English & Greek.
The new version, v1.1, provides an updated format of the first version and is available only in print format.

Each symbol in the cards is drawn entirely by hand. The current versions support graphically only temperatures in Celsius. There has been a thought of creating a version for Fahrenheit too, but that requires careful redesign of the corresponding symbols. Given enough demand, we will be able to allocate time to create the new symbols, so if you wish for such a version, please comment below or contact us.
Each card includes the most common care laundry label symbols. All of the symbols are complete, except ‘Dry clean’, in which if in use, one can fill out the appropriate letter inside the circle (eg. P, F depending on the chemicals that should be used). All symbols can be marked, highlighted or even colored to indicate which are valid for the corresponding handmade product.
How to use
The Kar{e}tpostal cards can be used as an accompanying gift card that informs the recipient of care instructions. They can be used as stash categorisation cards – to denote different types of yarn and how they should be cared for.
