Last Saturday, on the 18th of June, we celebrated for the first time in Patras, the worldwide event Knit in Public Day. The event took place at Mouselin Patisserie and in order to create a more suitable atmosphere, we decorated the space with several knitted and crocheted items. We had the attendance of total 10 people and it became a bit hectic, so unfortunately I couldn’t find the chance to take a snapshot! 🙁
It was an excellent first event, especially taking into consideration the extreme heat we had during that weekend. It was such fun, that several of the attendees requested we repeat this gathering soon again. That’s why we will be organising frequent knitting and crochet gatherings during the summer.
