Mediterranean Project Bag – small

My grandmother used to crochet a lot: bedspreads, curtains and lots of doilies. After her passing, I inherited the results of her work. I use most of the finished items in my own home, but unfortunately don’t have space to keep them all. That’s why I picked a select few to give them a new life.

This Mediterranean Project Bag is made from a single rectangular doily. I have transformed the doily into a project bag that can fit small projects (1-2 skeins). It is lined with a colorful cotton fabric and features a snap button for closure and a long shoulder strap. I have sewn some seams by machine, but many are done by hand.

Made by hand and with lot’s of care. 🙂

 

Materials: cotton yarn & thread, cotton fabric, metallic snap button.

Dimensions: 25 x 17 cm / 10 x 7 inches

Care: Machine wash in 40 degrees Celsius
